Summer heat is less of a problem for milk canneries compared to other dairies. In recent months, the demand for canned milk has increased significantly due to difficulties in storing fresh milk.

Seasonality is also an important factor that stimulates the production of condensed milk. Combines are actively replenishing their warehouses in preparation for autumn export and domestic trade. Producers have not yet increased the prices of canned milk, but, like other dairy products, they are likely to increase in price by the end of the summer.

In June, the export of canned milk decreased slightly, but for the first half of the year, foreign sales increased by 18%. This became possible thanks to the entry of some manufacturers into new markets in the countries of the European Union.

The summer heat, which causes problems with the storage of fresh milk, contributes to the increase in demand for canned milk. Factories specializing in the production of condensed milk had the opportunity to actively increase production and stocks, preparing for the active autumn season.

The increase in demand for condensed milk is also due to seasonal needs. Combines are in a hurry to fill warehouses before the autumn period, when sales are expected to increase both in the domestic market and abroad. Although the prices of canned milk are currently stable, they may increase by the end of the summer, as is the case with other dairy products.

On the export market, canned milk showed mixed results. In June, the volume of exports decreased slightly, but in general, for the first six months of the year, they increased by 18%. This growth is due to the successful development of new markets in EU countries, which opens up additional opportunities for Ukrainian manufacturers.

Thus, summer heat and seasonality continue to affect production and demand for condensed milk. Canned milk factories actively adapt to changes in the market, ensuring a stable supply of products to both domestic and foreign markets.
