In the Vinnytsia region, five sugar factories will be operational in the 2024-2025 season. As reported by Ukrinform, the following enterprises will operate in the region this production season: PJSC "PK Podillia" VP "Kryzhopol Sugar Plant", LLC "PK "Zorya Podillia" VP "Gaisinsky Sugar Plant", LLC "Tsukoragroprom" branch "Zhdanivsk Sugar Plant" ", LLC "Agrocomplex "Zelena Dolina" VP "Sugar Factory" and LLC "Yusefo-Mykolaivska APC" VP "Mykhaylinsky Sugar Factory".

According to information from the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration (OVA), the sugar production season in Vinnytsia officially started on August 24.

It was noted that the first to start sugar production was the Zhdaniv sugar plant, which is part of Khmilnytske LLC of the Astarta-Kyiv agro-industrial holding. As of August 29, the plant processed 17.6 thousand tons of sugar beets and produced 1.7 thousand tons of sugar.

It is noted that in Vinnytsia considerable attention is paid to the development of the sugar industry, which is an important element of the agro-industrial complex of the region. The launch of five factories will allow not only to supply the local market with sugar, but also to stimulate the development of agriculture, in particular, the cultivation of sugar beets.

It is expected that the active work of sugar factories in Vinnytsia region will contribute to the stability of sugar prices in the region and support the economic situation in the agricultural sector. An important aspect is also the impact on the employment of the population, because these enterprises will provide jobs for local residents.
