With the onset of July, it is possible that the cost of Ukrainian nitrogen fertilizers, including urea-ammonia mixture (UAN), may rise due to increased demand and rising gas prices in Europe. This was reported by analysts at Barva Invest, Latifundist.com reports.

However, "industrial" producers maintain the price level that was set in the first half of June, and some "non-industrial" producers have even reduced prices.

The recommended price from OSTCHEM remains at UAH 16.5 thousand per tonne (CPT). Ukrainian company Ukrtranslit has also not changed its UAN prices and is offering UAN-32 and UAN-28 grades for UAH 15,500 per tonne and UAH 14,000 per tonne at the factory.

Grosdorf has cut prices for all its products. The company is now offering UAN-32, UAN-30+1S, UAN-26+4S for UAH 15,000 per ton, UAH 14,500 per ton, and UAH 12,000 per ton (CPT/FCA). Since August 1, the prices have decreased by UAH 400 and remain lower compared to the product in stock - UAH 14.5 thousand, UAH 14 thousand, UAH 11.5 thousand per ton, respectively.

Freya-Trade offers UAN-32, UAN-28, UAN-25 + 2.4S, UAN-20 + 7S for UAH 16.4 thousand per ton, UAH 14.4 thousand per ton, UAH 13.2 thousand per ton, and UAH 11.5 thousand per ton. "UTK Khimalliance sold UAN-32 for UAH 16,000 per tonne (CPT), UAH 16,400 per tonne (EXW) and UAN-25 (3S) for UAH 13,000 per tonne.

This stability in UAN prices is a positive factor for the agricultural sector, particularly for crop producers, as this fertilizer is an important element in agricultural production. It is expected that the stability of UAN prices will help to ensure the sustainability of production and cost planning for agricultural enterprises. It is worth noting that the movement of UAN prices may depend on the dynamics of global agricultural markets and changes in the cost of energy, in particular gas.
