In Poland, an active search for workers for seasonal jobs with high salaries, which can reach 5-9 thousand zlotys per month (respectively 50-91 thousand hryvnias), has begun. However, this year the country is experiencing a shortage of personnel, as Ukrainians, usually leaving for such jobs, now choose other European countries due to more favorable conditions and openness of labor markets.

According to the EWL Migration Platform, this is due to high wages and stable demand for labor in the agricultural sector and logistics warehouses. The main statistical office of Poland released data according to which the average salary in the country in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 82.4 thousand zlotys, which is an increase of 14.4% compared to last year.

Marjana Semenyuk, director of recruitment at the Migration Platform EWL, says: "Seasonal work in Poland allows you to earn up to 9 thousand zlotys. This is often physical work in agriculture or on construction sites, where the salary depends on productivity and the number of hours worked. These vacancies are especially popular among Ukrainians who have experience in agriculture and live in villages."

Semenyuk also notes that the popularity of these jobs is due not only to high salaries, but also to the opportunity to gain valuable experience and support from employers in solving issues with residence and other aspects of life in a new country.

According to the Migration Platform, Poland also actively offers work in logistics warehouses, where manual labor is required for packing and sorting goods, which also requires physical effort, but allows earning at a level that attracts many Ukrainians.

According to experts, the labor shortage in Poland shows the importance of improving the migration policy and providing attractive conditions for foreign workers in order to ensure the stability and development of the country's economy.
