Ukraine, expecting a record harvest this season, plans to export about 55 million tons of grain, oil and processed products in the 2023/24 marketing year, the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Mykola Solskyi, said.

Solsky noted that the demand for Ukrainian agricultural products remains high, taking into account the expected increased harvest, which will reach about 78-79 million tons, which is 10% more compared to the previous year.

Last year, there was an increase in the volume of exports after August and September, especially after October 10, thanks to the efficiency of the Ukrainian sea corridor. The minister emphasized that significant volumes of products were exported, which indicates positive trends in the market.

According to data as of November 27, agricultural exports by road transport decreased to 425,000 tons, which is a slight decrease compared to previous months. Complications of weather conditions and technical barriers blocking entry to Poland affected the decrease in export volumes in November.

The situation in the agricultural sector promises an important contribution to the budget and will contribute to the development of the Ukrainian economy in the new marketing year.
