Ukraine continues to delight the global market with its bee products, earning almost $100 million from honey exports in the period from January to October 2023. This data is provided by Shareuapotential and is based on customs statistics.

During the reporting period, Ukraine's honey exports in October amounted to 5.8 thousand tons, which is almost the same as in September. The average export price continues to decline, dropping from $1.97 per 1 kg in September to $1.90 per 1 kg in October. It should be noted that in the first quarter of 2023, the average price of Ukrainian exports was $2.65 per 1 kg.

In monetary terms, the volume of exports in October decreased compared to the previous month, from $11.4 million in September to $11 million in October.

In total, in the first ten months of 2023, Ukraine exported 43 thousand tons of honey to international markets worth $97.5 million. For comparison, in the same period last year, these figures amounted to 38.7 thousand tons worth $112 million.

The main importing countries of Ukrainian honey in January-October 2023 were Germany, Poland and France.
