The Asset Management and Tracing Agency (ARMA) announced the first revenues to the state budget from the management of arrested Russian property. Thanks to effective management, it was possible to ensure the receipt of almost UAH 1.7 million.

According to the ARMA press service, to date, the state budget has received UAH 1,669,354.84 in revenue under a management agreement concluded with the Resource Group Limited Liability Company. The company currently takes care of 434 arrested Russian railcars located on the territory of Ukraine.

The agency notes that these funds are only the first stage of revenues. Currently, Resource Group LLC is repairing railcars that were idle and require maintenance. After the completion of the repair work, an increase in revenues from their further operation is expected.

In the near future, ARMA plans to announce eight open competitions through the Prozorro system to determine managers for new batches of seized railway cars. A competition will also be held to transfer three seized diesel locomotives to management.

In addition, an independent assessment of another large batch of assets is underway - 17,799 railway cars. After the assessment is completed, ARMA will begin the procedure for selecting managers for these cars as well, which will allow a significant increase in the volume of revenues to the state budget.

Thus, seized Russian assets are beginning to bring real economic results to Ukraine, contributing to strengthening the financial stability of the state in times of war.
