The mass production of Ukrainian tractors has started in Kropyvnytskyi - the Agro Kar company announced the start of a large-scale investment project that involves a full cycle of assembling equipment for the agricultural sector. The first stage of implementation has already been financed by 30 million hryvnias, and the company is already manufacturing equipment on a shift basis.
The deputy chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Economic Development, Dmytro Kysylevsky, reported on the progress of the initiative. According to him, the company is gradually moving to full-fledged conveyor production, which will be launched this fall at a new site with an area of 2,000 square meters. Construction is scheduled to be completed by September, and total investments in the project will amount to about 100 million hryvnias.
The launch of production was made possible thanks to state support within the framework of the Made in Ukraine program. In particular, the company "Agro Kar" took advantage of preferential lending under the "5-7-9" program, receiving 30 million hryvnias. Another 8 million hryvnias were provided in the form of a state grant for the development of the processing industry. These funds will be used to purchase modern laser equipment for production needs.
The company pays special attention to cooperation with Ukrainian manufacturers of components. Thanks to this, "Agro Kar" expects to become a participant in the state program, which provides for compensation of 25% of the cost of domestic agricultural machinery. This not only supports domestic industry, but also stimulates the localization of production.
Currently, the company is able to produce up to 12 tractors per month, but after the launch of a new production line in September, a significant increase in volumes is expected. The company's management predicts that productivity will increase more than fourfold - up to 50 units of equipment per month.
Thus, "Agro Kar" makes a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian mechanical engineering and strengthening the agricultural potential of the state. The project also demonstrates the effectiveness of state business support instruments aimed at developing local production in a wartime economy.
