In 2025, the state continues to actively support the development of the agricultural sector through the “eWork” program, aimed at stimulating agricultural production. Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian agricultural producers have already received 167.9 million hryvnia in grant funds, which are invested in the development of horticulture, berry growing, viticulture and greenhouse farming.
This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaly Koval. According to him, the funding is aimed at increasing the productivity and competitiveness of Ukrainian farms in priority sectors of crop production.
A total of 38 agricultural enterprises throughout Ukraine became this year's recipients of grants. Among them, 28 farms received 101.4 million hryvnia in non-refundable assistance for planting gardens, vineyards and berry orchards. Another 10 enterprises attracted 66.5 million hryvnia for the development of modern greenhouse complexes.
This financial support allows farmers to implement large-scale projects, modernize their production base, introduce the latest growing technologies, and improve the quality of agricultural products. In particular, greenhouse farms that have received grants will be able to supply the Ukrainian market with vegetables and herbs year-round.
Minister Koval emphasized that the “eWork” program has already proven its effectiveness. Since the initiative was launched, Ukrainian agricultural enterprises have been provided with more than UAH 1.35 billion in grants. In total, 268 agricultural companies across the country have received assistance.
State policy in the field of agricultural development remains one of the key areas of reconstruction and economic growth. Thanks to support through grant programs, the agricultural sector is not only stabilizing, but also demonstrating the potential for sustainable growth and entering new markets.
