At the beginning of 2025, thirty Ukrainian banks joined the State Agrarian Register (DAR), becoming participants in the state business support program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%. This significantly expands the opportunities for farmers to obtain financing and simplifies the process of identifying farms.

This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaly Koval.

According to the minister, the integration of banks with the DAR helps expand the choice of financial institutions for farmers and simplifies the identification of agricultural producers. This allows farmers to independently choose the most profitable banking services, and financial institutions to more quickly verify clients.

"This means that agricultural producers have gained wider access to banking services. It has become much easier for banks to identify farmers thanks to the integration of DAR with seven state registers, in particular with the Unified State Register and the State Register of Real Property Rights to Real Estate," Koval emphasized.

The Minister also recalled that from January 1, 2025, the government extended the "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" program for farmers. At the same time, a mandatory condition for participation in the program is registration with DAR, which ensures transparency and simplifies the application process.

This initiative is aimed at improving farmers' access to financial resources, promoting the development of the agricultural sector, and strengthening the economic stability of Ukraine.
