Over the past week, four agricultural enterprises in Ukraine have attracted 14.4 million hryvnias under the government program "eWork". This initiative is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the field of gardening, berry growing, viticulture and greenhouse farming.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. The department notes that the program is an effective tool for stimulating the development of agriculture, creating jobs and building the potential of agricultural enterprises.
Since the beginning of 2024, 112 agricultural producers have already received grants totaling 477.2 million hryvnias. Of this amount, 320.2 million hryvnias were directed to support 78 enterprises engaged in gardening, berry growing and viticulture. Another 157 million hryvnias were received by 34 enterprises specializing in greenhouse farming.
In total, since the launch of the "eWork" program, almost 1.18 billion hryvnias of grant aid have already been paid to farmers. Of these, 857.3 million hryvnias were directed to the development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture. These funds were received by 177 farms that fully implemented their grant plans.
342.8 million hryvnias were allocated for the development of greenhouse farming, which were received by 65 greenhouse enterprises. Thanks to these funds, farmers were able to modernize production, expand their areas and introduce modern technologies.
The "eWork" program demonstrates its effectiveness by contributing to the development of key areas of agriculture. The Ministry of Agrarian Policy emphasizes that such investments are a significant step towards strengthening Ukraine's food security, increasing its export potential and sustainable development of regions.
