In the de-occupied part of Kherson region, 40% of agricultural land, which amounts to 206 thousand hectares, has been successfully cleared of mines.

This was reported by Dmytro Butriy, First Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, during a briefing.

"Despite the conditions, agricultural enterprises and farms in the region continue to cultivate land and engage in sowing. Particular attention is paid to sowing barley, peas and flax. It is expected that this year the total area under crops will reach 153 thousand hectares," said Butriy.

He also emphasized that as of today, 40% of agricultural land on the liberated right bank has been cleared of mines, which amounts to 206 thousand hectares.
