In November 2023, inflation in the Ukrainian consumer market was 0.5%, compared to the previous month, when it was 0.8%. This data was provided by the State Statistics Service and indicates a slight decline in food prices, which affected inflation.
Among the products that saw a significant decline in prices over the past month was sugar, which fell by 4.3%. There was also a discount on fruit (2.1%) and sunflower oil (1.9%). Interestingly, prices for pasta, meat, and meat products also declined.
At the same time, some categories of goods saw price increases in November: vegetables went up by 13.2%, milk went up by 2.6%, butter increased by 2.5%, and cheese prices rose by 2.1%. Such fluctuations reflect complex market processes and the influence of various factors on pricing.
