President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has invited President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to join the global humanitarian initiative Grain from Ukraine. The news was reported by the press service of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

According to the press service, Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked the United Arab Emirates for its humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, including the supply of medicines, medical equipment, ambulances and thousands of generators.

During the conversation, the President of Ukraine also shared information about the global humanitarian initiative "Grain from Ukraine" and invited the United Arab Emirates to join its implementation. In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited the UAE to take part in the second international summit on food security to be held soon.

Also during the talks, the leaders agreed to continue working on the conclusion of a comprehensive economic partnership agreement between Ukraine and the UAE.

The interlocutors also discussed the situation in the Middle East. The President of Ukraine emphasized the importance of protecting civilians and ensuring the unimpeded functioning of humanitarian corridors.
