The French government has expressed its strong condemnation of Russia's attacks on Ukraine's grain infrastructure, particularly in Odesa region. This was announced by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press release.

The press release notes that the Russian Federation continues to blackmail global food security with such attacks. These attacks are systematic and lead to the destruction of transit and storage facilities in Ukraine, as well as create obstacles to grain exports and block the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

The French Ministry of Foreign Affairs also emphasized that their country will take measures to strengthen global food security, which Russia is actively trying to undermine by turning it into a political weapon.

It was noted that attacks on Ukraine's grain infrastructure pose a threat not only to Ukraine itself, but also to the stability of the global food market. France expressed its strong protest against such actions of the Russian Federation and called on other countries to join the efforts to ensure global food security.
