During the 2022-2023 marketing year*, despite limited logistics capabilities, Astarta successfully exported products totaling 833 thousand tons. The company's export geography covers more than 40 countries.

Despite the constant blocking of sea trade routes by Russia and other export restrictions, the company managed to successfully supply 563 thousand tons of grains and oilseeds to foreign markets, of which 177 thousand tons were wheat and 386 thousand tons were corn.

The main importers of wheat were Italy, Spain, Indonesia and Kenya, while China, Portugal and Spain dominated corn sales.

Soybean products, in particular soybean oil and soybean meal, are most often consumed in the European Union. Astarta has become the second largest exporter of soybean oil and the first among soybean meal exporters.

The company also successfully supplied 52 thousand tons of sugar to European markets, maintaining its leadership among Ukrainian exporters.

Thanks to its built-up reputation, transparency and sustainable business, Astarta is ready to integrate into European markets with its main and niche products.

Thus, the popularity of organic flax and mustard proved to be one of the highlights of the last season. Their presence in the product portfolio helped the company to expand cooperation with both large and regional players in the European Union.
