Modular warehouses: Support for farmers of the Kherson region in solving the problems of storing agricultural products

At the beginning of 2023, farmers of the Kherson region will receive an important tool for overcoming the problems of storing agricultural products - modular warehouses. This initiative was a response to the difficult situations faced by the agricultural producers of the region, in particular to the destroyed warehouses for storing the grown products, caused by the events that took place in the east of Ukraine.

The problem of loss of grain products and the necessary means for its storage was highlighted at the meeting of the Congress of local and regional authorities under the President of Ukraine. The head of the Kherson regional military-civilian administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, emphasized the importance of this issue and announced specific steps to resolve it.

"I have great news for our farmers. They can get free modular warehouses for storage of 1,000 tons, 500 tons or 300 tons. Our region became the first in which this pilot project is implemented," said the head of Kherson OVA, emphasizing the significance of this initiative step for local farmers.

According to Prokudin, the procedure for obtaining modular warehouses will be as simple as possible: farmers will be able to submit an application on the official website of the State Agrarian Register. This will open up new opportunities for storing large volumes of agricultural products and will contribute to the development of the agricultural sector.

At the end of his address, the head of the regional administration emphasized the endurance and perseverance of local farmers who, despite the difficulties, collected almost 60,000 tons of grain this year. This is evidence of the strength and dedication of those who work in the agrarian sector of the Kherson region, and emphasizes the importance of providing them with the necessary support for further successful development
