Since the beginning of this year, Ukrainian farmers have been actively attracting bank loans to develop their farms, obtaining over UAH 65 billion. According to data provided by national financial institutions, this amount was distributed among 12.3 thousand agricultural enterprises.

The bulk of these funds, namely UAH 37.5 billion, was provided under the state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9". This program is aimed at supporting micro and small businesses and allows agricultural enterprises to receive loans at rates ranging from 5% to 9% per annum.

Farmers in different regions received the largest amount of funding under this program. In particular, Kyiv (UAH 10.4 billion for 902 enterprises), Vinnytsia (UAH 5.9 billion for 1,417), and Dnipropetrovs'k (UAH 5.8 billion for 792) regions are the leaders in terms of the amount of funds allocated.

According to the report, loans under the "Affordable Loans 5-7-9" program were most used by enterprises in Kirovohrad (UAH 4 billion for 1,316 farms), Vinnytsia (UAH 3.8 billion for 1,068) and Odesa (UAH 3.6 billion for 864) regions.

The "Affordable Loans 5-7-9" program aims to facilitate access to credit for micro and small businesses. Agrarians can receive loans of up to UAH 90 million at 5-9% per annum, depending on the category and type of loan and the business entity.
