    List of dairy products with limited export appeal

    In the modern world, dairy products occupy an important place in the diet of many people and are the subject of international trade. However, not all dairy products are equally attractive for export. Ukraine continues to face challenges in the field of dairy industry, and for nine months of the current year, a significant decline in turnover of dairy products was recorded. According to data provided by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, collected for the period from January to September of this year, the turnover of dairy products fell by 9.7%, from $353.4 million to $318.8 million.

    The decline in turnover can be viewed from different angles, and it reflects the complexity of factors affecting the Ukrainian dairy industry. One of the key aspects is the deterioration of the situation on the world dairy market. A decrease in demand and price fluctuations on the world market led to a decrease in the export of Ukrainian dairy products, which affected the overall turnover.

    The second aspect is internal factors, such as changes in consumer habits of the population and competition in the dairy market. The increase in the use of alternative dairy products, such as plant-based milk drinks, has led to a decrease in demand for traditional dairy products.

    It is noticeable that the dairy industry of Ukraine faces internal and external challenges, and effective measures are needed to maintain the competitiveness and development of this industry. One of the possible directions is the development of new products that meet the modern taste and dietary needs of consumers.

    It is also necessary to promote the improvement of the quality of dairy products in order to ensure consumer confidence and preserve existing sales markets. In addition, cooperation with global partners and the search for new export markets can become an important element of the strategy for restoring the growth of the turnover of dairy products.

    Consumers are also increasingly concerned about the quality and safety of dairy products, and this may affect their attractiveness for export. Products from well-known brands that adhere to high quality standards usually have an advantage in the global market.

    The conclusion is that not all dairy products are equally attractive for export. In order to carry out successful export activities, dairy producers must carefully study the demand and requirements of consumers in different countries and adapt their products according to these requirements.
