A new season of harvesting and further processing of sugar beet from the 2023 harvest has started in Ukraine. This was reported by Ukrtsukor, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine.
According to official data, two sugar factories have already started processing beets. One of them is located in Vinnytsia region, and the other in Cherkasy region.
In addition, Cygnet's sugar plant in Zhytomyr region plans to resume operations this year. Last season, the plant did not operate due to the threat of military action.
