Four more agricultural companies have received UAH 13.5 million to develop horticulture, berry growing and viticulture as part of the government's eRobota grant program to support small and medium-sized businesses. This information is reported by ProAgro Group with reference to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of 2024, the program has already paid UAH 393.7 million in grant aid to 99 agricultural producers. Among them, UAH 270.2 million was allocated for the development of horticulture, berry growing and viticulture, which was received by 73 enterprises. At the same time, the remaining UAH 123.5 million was allocated for the development of greenhouse farming, which was received by 26 enterprises.
The history of the eRobota program began in 2022, and since then, about UAH 1.1 billion in grant aid has been paid to 249 agricultural producers. Of this amount, UAH 807.3 million was allocated for the development of horticulture, berry growing, and viticulture, which supported 192 farms. In addition, 57 farms received UAH 291.3 million to build and develop greenhouses.
Grant payments are an important tool to support agricultural producers in Ukraine, especially in the face of the challenges the industry has faced. They contribute to the modernization and expansion of production facilities, which, in turn, increases the competitiveness of Ukrainian products in the domestic and international markets.
It is important to note that the eRobota program is focused on supporting small and medium-sized businesses, which make up the bulk of the agricultural sector. Thanks to this initiative, entrepreneurs can receive financial support to implement their ideas and projects, which will directly affect the development of the country's agricultural economy.
Thus, the continuation of financing agricultural producers under the program demonstrates the importance of supporting this sector, which is strategic for Ukraine's economy. By receiving these grants, farmers have the opportunity to invest in new technologies and develop their farms, which has a positive impact on production and employment in the regions.
