Ukrainian poultry meat producers got new opportunities to export their products. Thanks to the efforts of the State Production and Consumer Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina has become open for Ukrainian poultry meat of mechanical deboning. This was reported by the press service of the State Production and Consumer Service.
Serhiy Tkachuk, the head of the State Production and Consumer Service, noted that in the conditions of war, the support of Ukrainian entrepreneurs is critically important. Now, thanks to active cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ukrainian products gain access to international markets. At the moment, work is underway to open markets in 63 more countries for almost 200 export destinations.
To simplify the export process, a form of veterinary certificate for mechanically deboned poultry meat products has been published on the official web portal of the State Production and Consumer Service. This document is available in the section "International cooperation" - "Veterinary and safety" - "Certificates for export from Ukraine".
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the State Production and Consumer Service has approved 41 forms of international veterinary certificates for the export of various objects of state veterinary and sanitary control. This made it possible to open 41 new markets for Ukrainian products, which is a significant achievement for the country during the war.
It is worth noting that in 2022, Ukrainian poultry meat producers have already gained access to the markets of Canada and Egypt. This was an important step in strengthening the position of Ukrainian products on the world stage.
In October 2023, agreements were also reached on the export of Ukrainian composite products with poultry meat and dairy products to Azerbaijan. Later that year, the opening of a market for Ukrainian poultry meat in Kuwait was announced, which is an important achievement for the Ukrainian agricultural sector.
Expanding sales markets for Ukrainian products in wartime conditions is vital to sustaining the country's economy. The opening of the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina is another step in this direction, which will strengthen the position of Ukrainian manufacturers in the international arena and ensure stable exports.
