Ukrainian producers of fish and fish products have been granted the opportunity to export their products to Kuwait, the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection has announced.
According to the information, the health certificate for the export of marine and river aquatic animals and products from them from Ukraine to Kuwait is now available on the official web portal of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
In addition, producers are advised to familiarize themselves with the Requirements for the Importation of Food Products to Kuwait to ensure compliance with the standards of the importing country.
Representatives of the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection emphasize that this opens up new prospects for Ukrainian producers, especially during the period of military operations.
"We continue to work together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the international level to expand markets for Ukrainian products. Our priority is to open new markets in Asia and North America," said Serhiy Tkachuk, Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
It is also worth noting that Ukrainian fish products can currently be exported to such countries as the European Union, Azerbaijan, Great Britain, Israel, Iraq, Qatar, Moldova, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
