The agricultural enterprise PAEK JV LLC continues to develop and strengthen its position in the domestic market by increasing the production of its own vegetable products. The company announced this in its official Facebook post, ProAgro Group reports.

This season, the company has already expanded the area under vegetable production to 300 hectares. In particular, 50 hectares are allocated for growing winter onions with plans to harvest them in 2024. However, next season, the area for vegetable growing will be increased several times.

This year, the company planted its second crop of vegetables after the barley harvest in mid-July. The main focus is on growing such crops as carrots, beets, cucumbers, zucchini, sweet corn and Chinese cabbage.

The company's founder, Yuriy Kormyshkin, shared his experience of growing two different crops on the same plot of land, as is already done with sunflower. This year, the goal is to harvest two crops of vegetables on about 30 hectares of land that is already equipped with a drip irrigation system. The first harvests have already begun in some areas. The company plans to further increase the land area for growing vegetables to strengthen its presence on the domestic market of Ukraine.
