Ukraine is witnessing the emergence of new initiatives in the animal feed industry, thanks to the Kramar Group of Companies, which is actively developing plans to build two new plants. The company's founder, Oleksandr Kramar, told about this in a special interview with Kurkul.com.
One of these plants will specialize in the production of animal feed premixes. These projects are currently under active development and promise to be important additions to Ukraine's agricultural sector.
However, the war in the east of the country has left its mark on the company's development. According to Oleksandr Kramar, there were plans to install solar panels to use resources more economically, but the conflict has significantly complicated this process.
The company's chief technologist, Oksana Yatsenko, points to the active implementation of new approaches to animal feed production. The company is focusing on developing new technologies and equipment to save energy and increase productivity to ensure high quality products.
A significant step in sustainable production is the use of sunflower husk pellets as an alternative fuel at the Kramar plant. This helps the company to continue operations even during power outages in winter.
