    Опубликовано: 2023-07-11 11:06:11

Turkey plans to extend the grain deal with Ukraine for two years and will make every effort to achieve this goal. This was announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Erdogan said that work on extending the "grain corridor" is already underway, and it would be desirable for them to extend the agreement for at least three months after July 18, and then for two years. He also expressed a desire to discuss this topic with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

President Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of ensuring the stable and safe operation of the "grain corridor" in the Black Sea, which does not depend on the mood and preferences of the Russian leader. He noted that this is important for the whole world, as well as for the lives of people on different continents, including Africa and Asia.

Zelenskyy condemned Russia's behavior blocking the movement of food ships in the Black Sea and emphasized that the Black Sea does not belong to Russia. He called for joint efforts by all independent states in the region to limit Russia's aggressive ambitions and ensure stability in the Black Sea region.

The "grain corridor" between Ukraine and Turkey is of great importance to both countries and is an important element of trade relations between them. Under this agreement, a significant amount of grain products is exported from Ukraine to Turkey, which contributes to strengthening economic cooperation and ensuring food security in both countries.

The extension of the grain deal for two years will contribute to the stability and development of trade between Ukraine and Turkey, as well as strengthen friendly relations between the two countries. Both leaders expressed hope for positive results of the negotiations and further strengthening of cooperation.
