The Easter basket, which has become an indispensable attribute of Easter celebrations, has hardly changed its price over the year. This is the conclusion reached by analysts, taking into account the prices of the ingredients of the traditional Easter table. According to Maksym Hopka, an analyst at the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, this year's cost of Easter cake and other components of the basket has barely increased compared to the previous year.

According to Hopka's calculations, the cost of preparing 3-4 Easter cakes will be approximately UAH 239.34, which is 1.4% more than in the previous year. It is noted that the price of some ingredients, such as eggs and sugar, has fallen, but others, such as flour, have risen in price.

In detail, the prices for the components of Easter are as follows:

flour - UAH 23.23 per kilogram,
butter - UAH 72 per 200 grams,
milk - 39 UAH for half a liter,
eggs - 46 UAH for 8 pieces,
dry yeast - 13 UAH for 12 grams,
raisins - 39 UAH for 200 grams,
sugar - 8.6 UAH per 300 grams,
powdered sugar - 6.5 UAH per 100 grams,
vanillin - UAH 7.1 per sachet.
As for the total cost of products for the Easter basket, prices have not increased much over the year. Pork, which is one of the main types of meat for Ukrainians, went up by 4%. Prices for eggs also remained in the range of 56-59 UAH per dozen, which is 22% less than last year.

Maksym Hopka believes that the supply of products during this period should increase seasonally, but should not lead to a sharp rise in prices. He foresees a gradual decline in egg prices after the holidays. This indicates that Ukrainian consumers can count on stable prices for food for Easter.
