The Ukrainian government continues to actively support domestic agricultural machinery through an improved compensation program. A year ago, the initiative aimed at compensating 25% of the cost of Ukrainian agricultural machinery was successfully relaunched. To date, 152 domestic manufacturers have joined it, offering more than 13 thousand units of machinery and equipment with significant discounts.
According to the First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, the development of Ukrainian agricultural machinery is a strategic goal within the framework of the "Made in Ukraine" initiative. The compensation program stimulates stable demand for products of Ukrainian enterprises and contributes to increased investment in production.
Over the past year, 131 machine-building enterprises joined the program, expanding the list of available machinery by more than 12.7 thousand items. The largest increase was recorded in 2024, when 117 companies joined it, offering more than 11 thousand units of machinery. In 2025, the initiative continues to gain momentum, with 14 new manufacturers and over 1,500 new positions.
According to the results of last year, agricultural producers purchased 6,180 units of equipment, which brings Ukrainian enterprises over 4 billion hryvnias in revenue excluding VAT. For its part, the state paid almost a billion hryvnias in compensation.
The positive result of the program was the creation of over 1,000 new jobs in domestic factories and a 10% reduction in agricultural machinery imports, which contributed to an improvement in the foreign trade balance. The government has already planned to continue funding the initiative until the end of this year, confirming its support for the development of domestic agricultural machinery production.
