The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading draft law No. 11063-d "On the State Agrarian Register" (DAR). 241 deputies voted for the relevant decision, which indicates significant support for this important document.

Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization Denys Bashlyk announced the adoption of the draft law and emphasized its importance for improving the existing system of the agricultural sector. The draft law was prepared in response to the demands of international partners regarding further development and European integration.

The main goal of the new law is to create a single electronic window for communication between agricultural producers and the state. This will simplify the process of obtaining state support and increase the efficiency of administration in the field of agriculture.

The draft law provides for the expansion of the range of DAR users. From now on, not only producers of agricultural products will be able to join the system, but also organizations of water users, subjects of the agro-industrial complex and enterprises of machine building for the agricultural sector. This will ensure wider access to state support.

The law also regulates the legal status of DAR, sources of its funding and provides the opportunity to form extracts from the register. In addition, the definition of the rights and obligations of DAR users, the mandatory use of registry data for the provision of state support, as well as the provision of partial guarantees for credit obligations to small and medium-sized agricultural entrepreneurs and insurance of agricultural products are provided for.

Denys Bashlyk emphasized that the adoption of this law will contribute to the use of DAR as an effective tool for providing transparent and affordable support to agricultural producers. Thanks to the automated system, users will be able to apply for assistance in a convenient way.

Adoption of the draft law will also ensure electronic information interaction of DAR with other information and communication systems, electronic resources and cadastres, which will contribute to better coordination and data exchange in the agricultural sector.
