The enterprise "Agro Partner 777" from Odesa began harvesting winter rapeseed already on June 17 of this year. According to Latifundist.com, the co-owner of the farm Mykhailyna Kaparulina reported on the successful start of harvesting.
"On Monday, we started harvesting rapeseed. We grow it on an area of 400 hectares. Despite the dry autumn, we carried out all the necessary operations for rapeseed, and this contributed to its good ripening. We achieved good results: one field yields 2.7 tons per hectare, the other 2.5 tons per hectare," she said.
Kaparulina also emphasized that the humidity in the crop is in the optimal range between 7.5% and 8%. Currently, the farm has two more fields left to harvest, but a weather warning stands in the way.
"We are worried about the approach of the storm. We have just experienced torrential rains. Now we are working almost 24 hours a day, because barley, peas and rapeseed are ripening at the same time, and soon there will be wheat. Usually, we harvest in stages: first barley, then rapeseed, then peas. And now we are faced with the simultaneous gathering of three cultures," Mykhailyna added.
"Agro Partner 777" is known for its innovations and high standards in agriculture. They plan to continue harvesting rapeseed and other crops, making maximum use of time and conditions to obtain a high-quality harvest for the benefit of the effective development of the agricultural industry in the region.
