In Ukraine, there is a significant increase in the prices of fodder corn, which is caused by active demand from processing enterprises and other factors. Since the beginning of May, prices have increased by more than UAH 1,000/t, as reported by the "APK-Inform" news agency.

As of May 27, the price of fodder corn is fixed mainly in the range from UAH 6,400 to UAH 7,900/t with delivery to warehouses of traders and processors (SRT). This significant price increase is due to several key factors.

First, active demand from processing enterprises, livestock farms and export-oriented companies has a significant effect on price increases. Demand for feed corn from these sectors remains consistently high, contributing to rising value.

Secondly, farmers restrain sales, which leads to an insufficiently active supply of grain offers to the market. This is also an important factor driving up prices, as limited grain supply puts pressure on the market.

In addition, the dynamics in the export market also have an impact on the growth of prices within the country. Export contracts and growing demand from foreign buyers are driving up domestic prices.

Analysts predict that the trend of rising corn prices will continue in the near future. A combination of factors such as active demand, limited supply and export dynamics will continue to influence the market, keeping prices high.
