The development of Ukraine's agricultural sector continues to gain momentum as farmers actively use the opportunities to obtain loans for further development. Since the beginning of 2024, 3,175 agricultural enterprises have already applied for loans worth almost UAH 20 billion. This data was provided by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Farmers are particularly active in using the government program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9", under which 1,517 farms received funding worth UAH 6.3 billion. This program has become an effective tool to support agriculture and stimulate its development.

The leaders in terms of loans received were farmers in Kyiv, Ternopil, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Odesa, Vinnytsia, and Lviv regions. These regions received significant funds to support the agricultural sector and improve its efficiency.

The program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9" has also gained popularity among agricultural enterprises. In particular, farmers in Kharkiv, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Odesa, and Lviv regions received the largest amounts of loans under this program.

The loans will enable farmers to modernize their enterprises, introduce new technologies and increase yields. This will contribute to the productivity of Ukrainian agriculture and the overall economic development of the country.

The active use of credit opportunities is becoming an important factor in stimulating the development of the agricultural sector and ensuring the country's food security. Further support for agricultural businesses is expected to contribute to the growth of Ukraine's economic potential and improve the living standards of the rural population.
