As part of the government's eRobota grant program to support small and medium-sized businesses, 3 more agricultural enterprises have received support for a total of UAH 2 million to develop horticulture, berry growing, viticulture and greenhouse farming. This demonstrates the continuation of the initiative aimed at supporting agricultural producers. In total, in 2023, 109 farms received state aid in the amount of almost UAH 418 million for the development of gardens and greenhouses.

According to the program, 92 farms received support for the development of gardens, with a payment of UAH 336.7 million, and another 17 received UAH 81.3 million to develop the greenhouse sector.

In total, UAH 467 million has already been allocated to 118 business entities during the program period. Almost UAH 371.7 million has been allocated to 99 farms for the development of orchards, berry growing and viticulture, while 19 entrepreneurs have received UAH 95.3 million to support greenhouse farming.

This year, grant payments have been completed for 86 farms. The eRobota program was launched on July 1, 2022 and is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine. It provides an opportunity for everyone to start or develop their own business in such areas as "Your own business", "Your own garden", "Your own greenhouse" and "New level".

According to the program's rules, grants are provided for an amount not exceeding 70% of the project cost, but not more than UAH 10 million. The applicant must contribute at least 30% of their own or borrowed funds to finance the project. Another prerequisite is the creation of jobs for the required number of employees. For gardens, it is necessary to provide from 5 to 10 permanent employees and 125 to 425 seasonal workers, depending on the type of planting. For greenhouses, at least 14 people per hectare.
