Farmers in Vinnytsia region continue to actively harvest early grain crops. According to the head of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration, Sergiy Borzov, on his Facebook page, the company has already harvested about 300 thousand tons of early grains.

Particularly noteworthy is the completion of the pea harvest, with 6.8 thousand hectares threshed, with an average yield of 27.1 centners per hectare, which is the same as last year. Winter barley harvesting is also nearing completion, with 71% of the area to be harvested threshed. The average yield has reached 50.4 centners per hectare, up 12.1 centners per hectare from last year. As for spring barley, 4% of the area has been harvested and the yield is 36.3 centners per hectare, which is also 2.8 centners per hectare higher than last year. Winter wheat has been successfully harvested on 10% of the area, with an average yield of 62.4 centners per hectare, which is 2 centners per hectare higher than last year.

Among industrial crops, winter rapeseed has been harvested on a quarter of the area and spring rapeseed on 48%. The average yield of winter rape is 32.1 centners per hectare, while spring rape yields 30.6 centners per hectare.

Agrarians in Vinnytsia region continue to work in the fields to successfully harvest a new crop of early grain crops, which is important for the stable development of agriculture in the region.
