More than a third of Ukraine's potentially mined agricultural land has been surveyed, according to regional state administrations. Last week, bomb squads inspected more than 3,500 hectares of agricultural land in four regions of the country. In total, more than 160,000 hectares have been inspected since the beginning of the year, which is about a third of the total area of land intended for the priority resumption of agricultural activities.

The press service of the Ministry of Economy reported progress in the surveys. Last week alone, pyrotechnics inspected 135 hectares of farmland in Kharkiv region, 393 hectares in Chernihiv region, 1,019 hectares in Mykolaiv region, and 1,968 hectares in Kherson region.

Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said that by the end of the year Ukraine expects to receive 50 demining vehicles and the necessary equipment. In addition, important steps have already been taken in the production of components for foreign-made machines in Ukraine, as confirmed by the memorandums signed during the Recovery Conference in London with the participation of Ukrainian, Croatian and Danish manufacturers.

The state also supports the scaling up of domestic production of domestic developments. Machines for preparing the soil for demining, developed by Kharkiv manufacturers, are at the certification stage.

The process of surveying and demining agricultural land is of great importance for the safety and further recovery of the agricultural sector in Ukraine. Work in this area continues, and the steps already taken indicate a gradual solution to this problem.
