At the end of August or beginning of September 2024, the first public land auctions on the Prozoro platform will begin in Ukraine. This was announced by the General Director of the State Land Bank LLC and the head of the Land Bank project Yaroslav Yaroslavskyi in an exclusive interview with AgroPolit.com.

Yaroslavsky noted that about 20 plots of land will be offered at a time as part of the first auctions. The starting cost of renting plots will be from 12% of the normative monetary assessment (NGO), which corresponds to approximately 3-4 thousand hryvnias. The lease term for annual plantations will be 14 years, while for perennials - 25 years. After the announcement of tenders, the documents will be drawn up within 30 calendar days. All information about the plots will be available on a special land map, which is currently being completed in cooperation with the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SFMU).

The State Property Fund conducted an inventory, as a result of which it became known that the state owns a total of 806 thousand hectares of agricultural land. From this amount:

- 386,000 hectares are under the management of the FSMU,
- 277 thousand hectares - at the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences (NAAS),
- about 100 thousand hectares - with the Ministry of Education and Science,
- 42 thousand hectares - with the Ministry of Justice.

"The Cabinet of Ministers transferred 104,000 hectares of land to us. These plots are included in the first pool of lands with which the State Land Bank LLC works. Of these, 85.6 thousand hectares were transferred from the State Property Fund, and 18.6 thousand hectares - from the Ministry of Justice. By the end of 2024, we plan to put Prozorro on electronic auctions. We will sell about 100,000 hectares of state land," concluded Yaroslav Yaroslavskyi.

This step is part of a larger project to optimize the use of state lands and aims to ensure transparency and efficiency in the field of land relations.
