    Breakfast has always been an important part of the day, and now a British mathematician from the University of Oxford, Dr. Tom Crawford, offers a science-based approach to making it. He developed a special formula for the perfect breakfast to ensure maximum health benefits without overeating, TSN reports, according to the Daily Mail.

    According to Crawford's recommendations, the ideal time to start breakfast is at 08:17. He advises splitting breakfast into two parts and starting with the first plate, which contains 2 eggs, a piece of toast, bacon, beans and sausage. After taking the first part of the meal, you should wait 16 minutes before moving on to the second plate.

    The second plate includes two portions of fruit, smoked salmon, yogurt and baked goods such as a bagel or croissant, as well as cereal. According to Crawford, you need to finish breakfast exactly at 09:02.

    Crawford explains that his formula is based on the concept of a "buffet," meaning a balanced approach to eating that maximizes benefits and prevents hunger pangs throughout the day. It emphasizes six key components, which include the amount and type of food and when it is consumed.

    For Brits, this formula could be particularly useful, given statistics showing that a heavy breakfast often hinders a productive start to the day. Crawford hopes his research will help people better understand how to structure their diets to maximize health and performance benefits.
