From June 25, Ukrainian agrarians have the opportunity to apply for budget support in three new directions through the State Agrarian Register (DAR). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

The first stage of accepting applications will begin on June 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. Farmers can apply for a separate budget subsidy in the amount of 4 thousand hryvnias for each hectare of cultivated agricultural land. This subsidy is intended for producers of agricultural products who own or use up to 120 hectares of land.

The second stage will start on June 27 at 10:00 a.m. and includes special budget subsidies for keeping cows, goats and sheep. Farmers who own from 3 to 100 cows will be able to receive 7,000 hryvnias per head. Owners of breeding herds of goats and sheep, which range from 5 to 500 heads, will receive 2,000 hryvnias per head.

As noted by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, agrarians from all regions of Ukraine can apply for budgetary assistance, with the exception of temporarily occupied territories and zones of active hostilities. This will support farmers and producers of agricultural products who work in difficult conditions.

When submitting applications to the DAR, it is important to take into account that the registration of applications will be stopped after reaching the approved volume of budget funds. This will be announced in DAR and on the official website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

The Ministry also emphasizes that support is provided in accordance with the Procedure for the use of funds provided in the state budget for providing support to farms and other producers of agricultural products. This will ensure transparency and fairness of the process of allocation of funds.

Thus, the new directions of budgetary support are aimed at promoting the development of the agricultural sector of Ukraine, providing the necessary resources for the cultivation of land and the maintenance of farm animals.
