Complex logistics hold back the development of poultry exports

Ukrainian export-oriented poultry enterprises face a number of challenges in the field of logistics, which hamper their opportunities in new markets. Despite the significant potential of Ukrainian poultry farming, complex transport infrastructure, as well as bureaucratic obstacles in the form of requirements for compliance with quality and safety standards, make it difficult to export products abroad.

One of the main challenges faced by poultry farmers is the transportation of goods to international markets. Inadequate development of railway and road infrastructure leads to increased delivery costs and delays in deliveries. This makes Ukrainian poultry products less competitive on international markets compared to the products of other countries.

Another problem is the requirements for product compliance with international quality and safety standards. National poultry enterprises that seek to export their products abroad are often forced to invest significant funds in the modernization of equipment and production technologies in order to meet international requirements.

Also, bureaucratic obstacles in the form of certification and documentation requirements can complicate the export of poultry products. For poultry farmers, this means additional costs and delays that negatively affect their opportunities in international markets.

To overcome these challenges, it is necessary to implement comprehensive measures at the state level aimed at modernizing transport infrastructure, simplifying certification procedures and creating favorable conditions for investing in the development of poultry farming. Only then will Ukrainian poultry enterprises be able to fully realize their potential on international markets and ensure stable development of the industry.
