Ukrainian farmers planted sunflowers on 75% of the projected area.

This activity became part of spring agricultural work in the country. According to the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine, the sown area is more than 2 million hectares.

Sunflower is an important crop for Ukraine both from the point of view of economic importance and agronomic perspectives. High yields and a wide range of product uses ensure stability and profitability for agricultural enterprises.

According to the data of the Ukrainian Agrarian Portal, the largest amount of sunflower sowing is observed in the central and southern regions of the country. This is due to favorable soil and climatic conditions for the development of this crop.

Against the background of the increase in the area of sunflower sowing in Ukraine, there is also an increase in the use of modern technologies in agriculture. Farmers introduce new varieties of agricultural crops, use effective methods of soil cultivation and plant care.

It should also be noted that the high level of sunflower seeding contributes to the stable production of sunflower oil, which in turn is used as an important component in the food and industrial sectors.
