In Ukraine, the first batches of domestically produced early cabbage appeared on the market. This vegetable of the new harvest is sold at the price of 20-25 hryvnias per kilogram, which is on average 40% cheaper than last year.

This was reported by the EastFruit project, which analyzes the market for agricultural products.

Analysts note that this year the beginning of the early cabbage season came at about the same time as the previous year. This became possible thanks to the mild winter and favorable spring weather.

According to experts, young white cabbage of 2024 is sold at a price of 20-25 hryvnias per kilogram, which is 40% cheaper than the prices of the first batches last year.

In addition, there is also imported young cabbage from Macedonia on the market. The price of imported vegetables began to decrease and currently amounts to 25 hryvnias per kilogram in connection with the appearance of the first batches of local products.

According to analysts, low prices for early cabbage this year can be an incentive for consumers to buy the vegetable, helping to increase its popularity on the market.
