The price jump for cucumbers in Ukraine: what caused the sudden price increase?

Prices for cucumbers in Ukraine have recently risen sharply, causing outrage among consumers. According to the State Statistics Service, average prices for cucumbers have increased by almost 30% over the past month. This impressive growth calls into question the availability of vegetables for many Ukrainians, especially those who are in a vulnerable position.

In particular, the increase in fertilizer and fuel prices significantly increased the cost of cucumber production.
