Troubled spring in Donetsk region: sowing of spring crops starts under shelling

In Donetsk region, despite increased enemy shelling and worsening of the situation in the east of Ukraine, agricultural enterprises have started sowing spring crops. This is an important step for securing food and preserving the agricultural potential of the region.

In recent days, shelling by the occupiers has become more intense, but the villagers are not stopping. They are sure that the sowing must be on time to have a harvest the following year. This will not only provide food for the local population, but is also important for the economy of the region.

Farmers take security measures to protect themselves from shelling. They cooperate with the military and have some experience in wartime activities. However, even with all safety measures, the risk remains high, which creates certain difficulties for agricultural enterprises.
