    First of all, the diet should include foods rich in sulfur and selenium. Sulfur is essential for the synthesis of cartilage tissue and is found in foods such as meat, fish, legumes, cereals, eggs, and dairy products. Selenium promotes the incorporation of sulfur into the cartilage structure and is involved in the processes of joint nutrition and moisturizing. This trace element can be obtained from Brazil nuts, fish, garlic, eggs, poultry, liver, mushrooms, cheese, and legumes.

    In addition, it is useful to include foods that contain a large amount of vitamin C. This vitamin is necessary for the synthesis of collagen, which provides strength to bones, joints, and ligaments.
