The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has strongly condemned the intentional destruction of Ukrainian grain by protesters on the border with Poland.

This was reported by the Ministry's press service on its official Facebook page.

"We are closely following the investigation of this incident and hope for a quick identification and punishment of the perpetrators. We understand that Polish farmers are protecting their interests, but such destruction of Ukrainian wheat is not justified from a legal or moral point of view," the press service said.

The Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that Ukrainian farmers have been working under constant fire for two years and have suffered huge losses. They often face challenges, even risking their own lives to produce this grain.

"The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food invites Polish farmers to Ukraine to understand the conditions in which Ukrainian farmers work. Our 4 million small farmers are ready to share their experience with their Polish colleagues," the Ministry added.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy also expressed its sincere gratitude to the Poles who have helped and continue to help the Ukrainian people in this difficult time.

"We are convinced that such events will not affect our common struggle and the support of the Polish people, which we have been experiencing for two years in the war against the Russian invader," the ministry summarized.
