In November 2023, the price of chicken carcasses remained virtually unchanged compared to the previous month and amounted to UAH 91.27/kg, indicating stability in the market.

According to the State Statistics Service, a further comparison with October 2022 shows a 13.4% increase in the price of chicken carcasses, as last year the price was 80.49 UAH/kg.

Prices for chicken fillets also remained stable in November, down 0.2% compared to October and amounted to 159.61 UAH/kg compared to 159.95 UAH/kg. However, compared to November 2022, there was an increase of 17.6%, when the average price was 135.72 UAH/kg.

Over the past year, prices for chicken products have increased, affecting the cost of meat and its derivatives for consumers.

This price increase reflects the impact of factors such as increased production costs, higher feed costs and inflationary pressures.

While remaining attentive to the dynamics of chicken prices, consumers and industry experts are interested in further studying and analyzing the factors affecting the chicken market in Ukraine.
