The Ukrainian agricultural sector in 2026 is increasingly focused on modern and productive equipment. Enterprises prefer imported tractors that provide predictable costs, high reliability and efficiency in field work.
This was reported by Delo.ua with reference to data from the Institute for Auto Market Research and Analytics of the Agriline marketplace. The platform unites sellers and buyers of agricultural equipment in 80 countries, and its monthly audience in Ukraine exceeds 200 thousand users, while the ad base has over 30 thousand positions.
Analytics of this market demonstrate real demand trends in the agricultural sector. The greatest interest among wheeled tractors is concentrated in various segments - from universal equipment for medium-sized farms to powerful machines for intensive cultivation of large areas.
In the Deutz-Fahr brand segment, demand is driven by two main models. The Deutz-Fahr 115G costs around 38,500 euros and is used as a universal machine for medium-sized farms or auxiliary work. In contrast, the Deutz-Fahr Agrotron 9340, priced at around 170,700 euros, belongs to the class of high-power machines designed for heavy field operations.
A separate position in the market is occupied by the Claas Claas Axion series, which covers different price and functional segments. The Axion 810 and 830 models are used mainly for transport and sowing work, the Axion 850 occupies an intermediate niche between price and power, while the Axion 930 and 950 are focused on intensive loads in the field.
In the heavy segment, the Case IH Magnum 340 is in stable demand with an average price of around 86,000 euros. This model is used for long-term field work and demonstrates high endurance during peak periods of the agricultural season.
The demand structure indicates a change in farmers' approaches to investing in equipment. The decisive factor is not the initial price, but the overall operating economy - fuel costs, downtime, availability of service and productivity per hectare.
As a result, the market is growing interest in liquid equipment with predictable costs and developed service support. At the same time, outdated models are gradually losing ground due to lower efficiency and increased downtime risks, which affects their competitiveness.
In general, the Ukrainian tractor market is moving towards more technological and productive solutions, which increases investment requirements, but at the same time allows agribusiness to optimize costs and increase production profitability.
