Ukraine is actively increasing soybean exports: in January 2026, more than 210 thousand tons of soybeans were shipped, according to SPIKE BROKERS analysts. A significant part of the cargo was exported by rail, which allows us to effectively serve key European markets.

The main export destinations remain Poland, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. Demand for non-GMO soybeans from Ukraine is growing against the background of changes in regulatory requirements in the European Union, which makes Ukrainian raw materials particularly in demand among European processors.

In the domestic market of Ukraine, prices for GMO soybeans for processing with VAT have decreased slightly: quotes fell by $1 per week, to $462 per ton. At the same time, the export CPT price remained at $427 per ton and even showed a slight increase, which indicates stable demand in foreign markets.

Trade remains sluggish, but Ukrainian processors continue to show interest in raw materials. The growth in exports is due not only to the needs of foreign markets, but also to active logistics and optimization of supplies via railway routes.

In addition to beans, exports of soybean oil also increased in January, amounting to 32 thousand tons, which significantly exceeds the pace of previous months. This indicates a stable situation in the processing market and the growth of capacities of Ukrainian producers.

Analysts note that Ukraine continues to consolidate its positions in the global soybean market. Demand for non-GMO products and active use of rail transport ensure stable export growth, and the domestic market demonstrates a willingness to adapt to price fluctuations and support processors.
