Ukraine continues to expand international markets for its meat products. In 2026, veterinary certificates were agreed upon, opening up the possibility of exporting Ukrainian beef, lamb and poultry meat to the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire. This was reported by the press center of the State Consumer Protection Service.

According to the new agreements, Ukrainian producers can supply fresh, frozen or processed beef and lamb meat, as well as products made from them, intended for human consumption, to the African market. Similar certificates allow the export of meat and poultry products.

The opening of this direction creates new opportunities for Ukrainian producers and exporters of meat products. In addition, such steps contribute to the deepening of trade and economic cooperation between Ukraine and African countries, strengthen the positions of Ukrainian companies in the international market and increase the export potential of the industry.

To export to Ivory Coast, Ukrainian companies must comply with established norms and standards. Before sending goods, exporters must obtain a special permit from the Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Resources of the Republic of Ivory Coast.

Each batch of meat products must have an Import Permit, which is issued before shipment. This guarantees compliance with all veterinary requirements and product safety for the end consumer.

All approved forms of veterinary certificates are available on the official web portal of the State Consumer Protection Service of Ukraine in the section “Certificates for export from Ukraine”. This allows exporters to easily prepare the necessary documentation and quickly enter new markets.

The expansion of exports to Africa indicates the growing interest in Ukrainian meat products on the world market and strengthens the role of Ukraine as a reliable supplier of quality food products.
