Based on nuts: a farmer in Volyn received a grant and is developing his own production

In Volyn, one of the local farmers became a participant in the grant program and received funding to create a hazelnut processing plant. Thanks to this, he is expanding his own business and creating new opportunities for the agricultural industry of the region.

The grant allowed him to purchase the equipment necessary for the preliminary processing and packaging of hazelnuts: cleaning, drying, packing. Thanks to such investments, the farmer is moving from simply growing nuts to creating finished products, which significantly increases the added value.

In addition to technical modernization, he also concluded agreements with local orchards and nut plantations for the supply of raw materials. This makes it possible to receive a stable harvest and ensure the production chain in a timely manner. In addition, he plans to create his own trademark and promote products on the domestic market.

The development of his own business has a positive impact on the local economy: new jobs are created, in particular in product processing, packing and logistics. It also helps reduce the region's dependence on raw material production alone and stimulates the processing industry.

Ultimately, the example of this farm enterprise in Volyn shows that with the correct use of grants and strategic planning, agricultural activities can be transformed into modern production with high added value. This approach can become a development model for other farmers in the region.
